Child Psychological Assessment
A good starting point is to get your child assessed by our qualified and experienced Child Developmental Psychologist. Formal or informal assessments will be able to uncover a child’s strength or challenges that they face. This information is then used to plan a suitable intervention plan for your child. However, evaluation is an ongoing process. Hence, if your child is enrolled at our centre, our psychologist will regularly meet with the parents to discuss your child’s progress and the next action plan.
Speech Therapy
If you suspect that your child could have a certain speech or language problem, our certified and experienced speech therapist can do an initial assessment and then provide a suitable treatment plan. A speech disorder refers to a problem with the actual production of sounds. A language disorder refers to a problem understanding or putting words together to communicate ideas. Treatment usually begins with an initial assessment to identify therapy goals. Therapy then is done with the child on a weekly basis and also involves working with the parents on strategies to support the child’s language development.
